Bank Prov supports expanded access to justice for New Hampshire residents

BEDFORD, NH – BankProv recently donated $10,000.00 to the NH Campaign for Legal Services, supporting the civil legal aid work of NH Legal Assistance and 603 Legal Aid.
NH Legal Assistance (NHLA) and 603 Legal Aid, the two statewide providers of free legal help to New Hampshire residents, collectively deliver advice, systemic advocacy, appropriate referrals to private attorneys, and full representation in court and in administrative hearings for people living with low income.
Civil legal aid serves the most vulnerable populations in New Hampshire: seniors, domestic violence survivors, low-income parents, people living with disabilities, and people who speak languages other than English.
“Defending your home, your livelihood or your personal safety from an abusive partner in court on your own would be hard for anyone. It is even harder if you don’t read well, have limited English proficiency, or don’t have transportation. This gift from BankProv will allow our programs to respond to the needs in our community,” said Campaign Director Sarah Palermo.
