Thank you to our 2023 Pacesetter law firms! The attorneys at our 2023 Pacesetter Law Firms stand as leaders for access to justice in New Hampshire. Pacesetter Law Firms are those whose contributions total at least $500 per attorney. Together, they donated more than $75,000 in unrestricted funding to the Campaign for Legal Services last year, enabling 603 Legal Aid and NH Legal Assistance (NHLA) to provide access to justice to families, seniors and domestic violence survivors across the state.
Orr and Reno has supported access to justice in New Hampshire for decades, including 25 years as a Pacesetter Law Firm.
“It’s part of the firm’s DNA,” said Erin Vanden Borre, an attorney at Orr and Reno and member of the NHLA Board of Directors and the Campaign Steering Committee.
“Engagement with the community is a deeply held value at Orr & Reno,” Vanden Borre said. “And because the magnitude of unmet need for legal services is so great in this state, organizations like NHLA and 603 Legal Aid, which the Campaign supports, are obvious places for us to support with our time and resources.”
But it’s more than that, too. Vanden Borre says she derives enormous professional and personal satisfaction from her involvement and is continually inspired by the work that her colleagues do every day on behalf of low-income individuals and families in our community.
“Our efforts at NHLA and 603 Legal Aid matter because they help ensure that New Hampshire residents facing life-altering legal crises don’t have to do it alone,” Vanden Borre said. “I’m grateful to be part of a firm that supports my involvement in NHLA, as well as for the opportunity that NHLA provides to come together as a legal community to help our neighbors. It’s all good work.”
