Legal Aid Supporters Walk and Run for Justice

A bit of autumn chill didn’t stop more than 150 runners and walkers from gathering at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester on Saturday, October 1 for the second annual Run/Walk 5k for Justice. Amanda Quinlan of McLane Middleton successfully defended her title of fastest overall runner, setting a blistering time of 17 minutes and 59 seconds. Spencer Clemans, 12, of Concord, was the fastest male runner.

“I know I’m preaching to the choir, but this is so important,” said Tom Raffio, CEO of Premier Sponsor Northeast Delta Dental. “There cannot be equal justice unless everyone is represented.”

Thank you also to the planning committee and race-day volunteers who helped make this year’s Run/Walk 5k for Justice a tremendous success! But most of all, we’d like to thank each and every runner and walker for taking part and supporting access to justice. Attorneys, law students, families, and even a few dogs took part in the fun this year. We hope to see you all again next time!
